The perfumer’s insight:

The smell of a forest at dusk in the summer is distinct from the morning smell. I used a very different 'Grand Cru' Patchouli from Sri Lanka with more earthy, camphor and wet soil facets, emphasized the Pine and smoky side and, together with the Amyris, evoked the mystical forest. 
The top Lemon and Ginger notes add dynamism. The clove, cinnamon and black pepper adds warmth in the hearth. Emerging from the heart, it's like stepping through a hidden portal into a magical woodland. The 'Grand Cru' Patchouli from Sri Lanka and Amyris together with slightly smoky Dark Wood notes give you the excitement and mystery of a forest.
